About Henry

Henry P. Tsai, PhD.

I am an anatomist, functional morphologist, and paleontologist in the Department of Biology at Southern Connecticut State University.

From 2018 to 2021, I was a faculty member at the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Missouri State University. From 2015-2018, I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Brown University. I earned my doctoral degree in Integrative Anatomy at the University of Missouri. Further back still, I was an undergraduate majored in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Irvine.

Outside of Science, my interests include artistic expressions through 2D art (digital and traditional), 3D modeling, as well as the application of these these techniques in large scale projects such as costume and prop designs. Aside from that, I am an average enjoyer of historical and science fictions.
